Brief Expedition objectives:

List a short summary of the main Expedition objectives.

Continue exploration of Tham Pha Pheung in Nan province, currently deepest cave in Thailand. Continue following up of all new leads in Ban Mani Phruk area.

The main goal is to push Tham Pha Pheung deeper to try to find the end, sump or exit at the bottom of the mountain, last time we were stopped on the last day by an approx. 20m pitch so the first couple of days will be centred on re rigging the cave and getting down the new pitch to follow the streamway. We have enough people this time to do a large and significant amount of work in the surrounding area following up all known leads with the intention of finding more caves to piece together the jigsaw we have, hopefully striving to exploring a massive stream cave system centred around Tham Pha Pheung. All activities in this main cave will be filmed with the intention of putting together a good quality short film on our return to the UK.
