Detailed description of objectives:

Give a more detailed account of the purpose of the trip, including any particular known caves you intend to visit, specific areas where you will explore for new cave, and scientific experiments you will attempt.

At the end of the 2012 Montenegro expedition, we were told that in the spring, when water levels are high, not only does the resurgence Spila Risanska discharge a vast amount of water, but sometimes a spring in the hillside above also becomes active. In order to increase the chance of locating this overflow, with the possibility of finding a way into the system beyond, the plan is to go in February.
Also in 2012 a large hole was seen near Obodina above the hamlet of Ubalac; this obvious site needs to be examined.
Some of the promising sites found in 2012 were not fully explored, so they need to be looked at.
Previous work in this area:

Give details of any previous work in this area by your own and other teams. Include references to reports and articles published on the area, and the names of any local cavers or academics with whom you have discussed the Expedition.

Expeditions to the area above Risan, on the Bay of Kotor, have been held for 4 succesive years since 2009. Significant numbers of caves and pots have been found on every occasion.
