List a short summary of the main Expedition objectives.
Continue the exploration and mapping of the currently 9885m long resurgence system Pozo Azul, of which 9135m of diving is required to reach the end point, which is Sump 4.Please explain the aspects of the trip which make it eligible for Ghar Parau funding.
Give a more detailed account of the purpose of the trip, including any particular known caves you intend to visit, specific areas where you will explore for new cave, and scientific experiments you will attempt.
Continue the exploration and map in Sump 4, which is the current limit at close to 10km from the entrance, and beyond 9135m of diving. This is currently the longest cave diving penetration in the world.Logistics here will require removal of drysuit and donning of wetsuits several times to transport the required equipment to S4. This is due to the sharp nature of the passage.
Carry out detailed survey of dry passage (Razor Passage) between Sumps 3 and 4.
Use radio location device to accurately locate the dry chamber -Tipperary to a surface location.
Potentially also move radio location device forward to Razor Passage and carry out radio location.
Use electronic mapping device to gather further data from the underwater sections of the cave.
