Brief Expedition objectives:

List a short summary of the main Expedition objectives.

Due to the fact that the famous Grote del Observatoire at Monaco was studied at the early 20's, it seems to be of great importantance the re-thinking of this interesting Paleolithic cave site. The purpose of this project is to re-explore, survey, film and re-investigate the archaeological evidences.

Detailed description of objectives:

Give a more detailed account of the purpose of the trip, including any particular known caves you intend to visit, specific areas where you will explore for new cave, and scientific experiments you will attempt.

Main goals of the project are: a) the 3D photographic documentation of the cave, b) the new survey, c) the sedimentological and micromorfological sampling of the old trenches, d)the re-studying on the Paleolithic artifacts, e) the geological and biological study of the cave and finally f) the public engagement with the idea of cave protection and natural heritage exploitation via Drama techniques.

The Leader of this project visited the cave during the summer of 2012. Cave had been studied for last time at the decade of 20s.
