Detailed description of objectives:

Give a more detailed account of the purpose of the trip, including any particular known caves you intend to visit, specific areas where you will explore for new cave, and scientific experiments you will attempt.

Sump 9 was referred to by Dr William Stone as 'possibly the remotest point yet reached inside the earth'. In order to explore beyond this point we will need to transport a team of divers, their equipment and supplies to last them a week to sump 9.

In order to reach sump 9 there is over 6km of cave to be traversed, a depth of 990m to be reached and a 500m long main down stream sump to be passed.

Secondary objectives for non divers:
- Look for a dry connection to Nita Nanta (a diving connection already exists)
